L.J. Lekkerkerk (or just Hans) combines a BSC in Mechanical engineering (1982) with an MSc in (social) Systems design (1985) from Delft University in the Netherlands, and a PhD in Business administration (2012) from Radboud University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. In his PhD-thesis he combines systems thinking, organisation design, and innovation management.
Between his MSc and joining Radboud University Faculty (September 1997), he worked as an industrial engineer, project manager, and quality engineer at the Composite Structures Division of (the late) Fokker Aircraft.
He currently is senior lecturer in organisation design and innovation management, and involved in several educational programs (BSc Business Administration, MSc Organisation Design & Development, MSc Information Science).
He supervised 125 students with their MSc-project in many kinds of organisations in his areas of interest.
His teaching and research are aimed at improving the quality of work by integrated design of structure and systems.
